Healthy Home made Ladoo recipie

Yummy & Healthy Sweet - "Ragi Ladoo"

Today post lunch, I was in a mood to have some healthy sweet dish and wanted to make it as quick as possible and though with least effort ๐Ÿ˜

If you are in such a lazy mood this will be a perfect fit recipe for you to try it out with family. It hardly need any time for preparation and my husband joined me in making the ladoo balls.

Ingredients:
Ragi Flour - 1 cup
Sugar - 1/2 cup (you can use powdered jaggery instead which is my preference as its more healthy)
Ghee - 3 table spoon
Milk - 3 table spoon

Garnishing:
Badam - 6
Cashew - 6

Cooking Time: 15 min

Preparation Steps
Step 1:
Heat Ghee in a pan (preferably non-stick, but not necessarily) then add almond and cashew.
Remove cashew once its golden brown and let almond fry for 1 more minute till its outer cover become crispy, then remove almond as well to a different plate.

Step 2:
In the same pan with hot ghee put on ragi flour in low/medium flame and fry for around 4-5 min till a good aroma comes out.

Step 3:
Add sugar/jaggery into the ragi flour and mix well for sometime. Press the flour little bit using a flat ladle so that the ragi flour get mixed well with sugar. After 2-3 min, add milk in small quantity (1 table spoon at a time) and mix well. Add more milk if you feel like the mix is too dry. The content should be in dark brown color and should be thick enough to make into balls. Now let it cool for a while till you are able to mix the content using your palms.

Step 4:
Chop the almond and cashew into small pieces and mix well with above prepared ragi mix. Now make small balls out of this ragi mix using your palm. Decorate with more cashew if you prefer๐Ÿ˜€

Yummy tasty healthy ladoos are ready now!๐Ÿ˜ Enjoy with your family!
